To Kegel or not to Kegel? That’s just one question many women have about their pelvic floors, along with: How do I know if I’m kegeling correctly? Should I steam the thing? Does it need maintenance like my car? What did my kid DO to it during delivery? What if I had a c-section, or never had kids? Statistics indicate that more than 1/3 of U.S. women have a Pelvic Floor Disorder, with nearly ¼ experiencing multiple issues that cause symptoms, yet ObGyn’s are not trained to assess pelvic floor musculature, and incontinence issues and prolapse surgeries are on the rise.
How’s a girl to know what’s up down there?
